The Department shall be responsible for the following, among others:

• Curriculum Development and Review;
• E-Learning Pedagogies;
• Programme and Institutional Accreditation;
• Performance Standards Setting;
• Monitor Service Delivery and Quality Assurance across the University;
• Responsible for the quality assurance issues in all institutions affiliated to the University;
• Monitor and ensure that Affiliate Institutions conform to rules and regulations of KNUST;
• Policy Alternatives and Development; and,
• Documentation, Validation and Verification of documents.
